Follow their adventures and experiences at www.skauhytt.com, our Instagram and Facebook.
Our last resident for this edition of the Skauhytt artist in residence program is Jan Philip Scheibe. The work of Jan Philip primarily takes place in the public space and his affinity with Scandinavia makes it that he and Skauhytt match very well. The time of the year works in his advantage, as he has an extensive knowledge of what edible mushrooms you can find in the woods surrounding Kloster Bentlage. Jan Philip Scheibe.
For the past half year Rosa Menkman has lived in a Hostel in Berlin. She now trades her hostel room for a cabin in the fields. She normally works with digital tools to make her work. But there are very few computers in Skauhytt and no electricity. Curious to find out more about Rosa's work? Check out her website: Rosa Menkman.
Our second resident in Skauhytt is Markus Stockhausen. Markus is an accomplished musician and composer who will spend his residency fasting and meditating in silence. As part of his residency he will host a sound-meditation every evening from 17:00 till 18:00 in Kloster Bentlage. Participation is free of charge and can be done without reservation. Markus Stockhausen.
Our first resident is Jeroen Jongeleen.
